Off Topic Done a video

Theres too many to mention.
But first of all I would keep up the Youtube videos, and maybe start a vine account aswell.
But basically you are approaching media companies and other corporations with offers of advertising, like they put a 30 second advert at the beginning of every video you upload, and then everytime said video is watched, you get a few pennies. But with 20k+ followers, that can add up, and especially if you continue building up a following, it can mean big bucks.

A guy called Pewdie Pie started a game review video account on Youtube and is now a millionaire.
Ditto with Rebecca Black, she made one ****ty song, that was so laughably bad that people couldn't stop watching and it got like 50 million views.
Once you hit that territory, the companies will approach YOU with advertisement offers.

they are E-Celebs, so if you dont watch a lot of youtube, you wont know them.
But regardless, they are now loaded, thanks to youtube, Vine and instagramme.

I know, it does make me despair for the human race, that we can elevate this sort of "Talent" to millionaire status unwittingly just by watching it and telling her how **** she is.
Its damning really, but thats the world we live in now, you can make millions by being soooo bad at something that people cannot stop watching and ridiculing.
Seriously this girl even got death threats I mean ffs people, yes its a **** song but just don't listen to it.
The idea that you would be so outraged that you would send a 14 year old girl death threats for making a song you hated is....almost inhuman. But of course, because she got death threats, she made more headlines, and boom, more cash rolling in. The irony is if that people had just ignored it she would have faded into obscurity, instead they rage and now she is a millionaire
She most definitely had the last laugh.

 

Oh and the same guy that Rebecca's parents paid like $1000 to to make this video and edit it and ****, also made a killing, and released a slew of other ****ty videos from parents who wanted to make their kids famous.
This one is actually so bad and disgusting it is offensive

Companies will also just pay for a product mention. For example, I might make a toilet cleaner and offer to pay you £100 to mention it on twitter. You might then say on twitter "Just had a huge dump and blocked the bog, luckily VTT's Toilet cleaner <link> cleared it easily!"

To me that's very cheap for an audience of 20k, and obviously no work for you at all.

Anyway Matth, my point being that whatever you do, doesn't have to be good or you don't really need a specific talent, or even to be likeable, all you have to do is captivate people these days......you certainly do that to folk on here, and 20k twitter followers would suggest you do it on Twitter too.
