Do Saints fans think such a promising talented young man should come to Portsmouth?

    Hello my glorious Saints fans!
    Whilst i have no doubt that you will walk League 1 this year, do Saints fans think it's time to let the lad known as 'Oxo' develop his wonderful skills at a bigger club?
    The balance of fortune has shifted in recent times and Portsmouth are a far better club for the kid and our promotion back to the premiership offers him a chance he could never get at Saints.

    I predict an easy win for you at the 3rd best team in the south on Saturday! <bubbly>

    Kingsland. Is it fair to say that this is exactly the same kind of WUM attempt we used to have on 606...

    Just the language is provoking (i.e. 'better club') etc...

    If the OP had the slightest bit of knowledge about football, Hants football and the club he claims to "support" then he will know that the said "Oxo", was born in Portsmouth, the son of an ex Portsmouth player and coach and yet still his father thought he would be better off devoloped at, in the words of Mr Redknapp, a "proper club". It's therefore rather unlikely that this Portsmouth boy who turned his back on the Club, would want to return. Like Mick, Chicken George, Scot Hiley, Ossie & Anti he may return once his career is almost over.

    It is only provoking if you let it be.....it is a bit of banter....now come on you can counter that....but remember not to insult the person. Also he did say we should win Saturday. So not all bad news.....

    Re young Oxo now you obviously do not keep up with events. Pompey had the chance to sign the lad but he got advice and chose to come to the pearl club of Hampshire namely........ Saints. He could see the demise of Portsmouth and their hairy times coming up so decided to go to a club that is now financially stable. Who will guarantee his wages are paid on time. Who are allowed to purchase in the market who will Hopefully be up there with you in the Championship next year. If not next then the year after.

    The real question is; Will anyone want to go to Portsmouth in the future?

    Doesn't half the squad want out, want their wages to be paid on time, want to play in a stadium with an atmosphere etc... <laugh>

    to be fair to TFLS, it would take a lot of pressure off oxo to play in front of 14,000 each week.
