In all seriousness this is ****. Just papering over the cracks. If a club loses a game because of a penalty awarded due to diving then what do they get? Fack all. Bring in video technology and catch the bastards there and then. That's when it stops.
I think it's good but doesn't go far enough, should be 3-5 games. Managers will soon stop encouraging it when they're losing their best players for 2-3 games at a time.
I think it's too much of a grey area to warrant 5 games, as much as I'd like it to. Not all that often that a player out right dives with no contact whatsoever.
It is bullshit. I agree with AKCJ, bring in the videos and catch them real time. If someone dives to win an FA cup final, I am sure they will not give a **** that they will get a 2 match ban (one of which would be the Charity Shield ). And the losing team still loses and gets no remuneration. It is a half arsed measure.....
Oh look, it's Skiddy banging on about Spurs, again. I'm so shocked. That's clearly not a dive, by the way. His one against Swansea definitely was though and he should've been punished for it. Leicester and Chelsea are two of the worst offenders, though. It's constant and not punished nearly as often as it should be.
So what? This is a rule being brought in specifically to deal with teams getting away with diving. Dele Alli wasn't booked for diving, either. Does that mean that he didn't dive? You're ****ting on your own thread, bizarrely.
Or I'm enjoying watching you dance at my command? Chill out mate, it's a joke. Dele Alli won't miss most of the season. Just some of it
And nobody dived against Chelsea. Arnautovic was the only one to do it against Spurs. His was really blatant, too. Hughes got sent off because of it. No idea why he was so upset.
