This is spot on, in my opinion. I would like to see Cousins get game time in the middle of the pitch too though, but with plenty of games I guess there would probably be a need to play him and drop one other player at times anyway. My only concern is the goal return from Polter to be honest, but don't see we have any other option at the moment.

 

We played the best available midfield and striker and still looked toothless. Better than we have been but toothless still. The defence has gone from ok under Hasselbaink to plain awful under Holloway.

 

Could be partly as well because Henry isn't sitting in front of the defence protecting under Olly, and Ariel wasn't showing much today.

 

I thought he did ok. I certainly don't think we'd have been better with Henry.
