I see some of the press have Alfie as MOM tonight

It will be critical for PC to get that central pairing sorted but a great start at the back

    • Sam Allardyce has lost his first home Premier League match as a boss for the very first time - he had previously won four and drawn one.

But we thought we'd turned a corner after beating Sunderland (decent performance) and then lost 4 in a row...

Couldn't watch the game but saw the highlights. Rode our luck on the penalty but showed a lot of character and theirs was a wonder goal that nobody could have stopped. We're going to need buckets of that character in the months to come.

I didn't see the game, following it on radio/internet.
In addition to gaining a desperately needed win, the teams' performance was much lauded by commentator's and observers alike.
When was the last time that happened ?
Do we get carried away ? Definitely not.
Can we now have a degree of optimism ? I think so, and I haven't felt any optimism since the Hull debacle.

So, the incoming Coach/Manager must have been a tad impressed with what he saw last night.

He probably wondered what all the fuss is about. ;)

    Hahaha, very candid from Angel!

"I was the lucky one to score the goal, but after so many weeks being probably, if you want to call it a 'shambles' or 'not well organised', we looked like a proper team and we deserved the win.

    'A proper team, not a shambles' :D :D :D

9 games in charge at some of our most dire and tramatic times in the Premier on 2 seperate occassions after the sacking of Monk and Bradley ...... 11 points in those 9 games , well done Mr. Curtis and thanks for another stabilization in the worst of times . Great pass by Mr. Fer also w...oohoo
