Team not too different from the one which started against Oldham. Weale, Summerfield, Parry and Bradshaw in (not counting Jones for Tam as the latter played such a minimal part) for Anyon, D. Mac, Reach and Burke.
Just back and another decent performance. We tested their keeper a few times in the first half-Taylor and Bradshaw in particular. Apart from the penalty they had one decent chance when Adams shot wide. The penalty was across the other side from us but it appeared harsh in so much as Jones seemed to have his shirt pulled at the same time. Weale guessed correctly which made it a comfortable save. Superb cross by Woods for our goal which resulted in a carbon copy of Wildig's goal against Bolton. Crawley then exerted pressure for most of the remainder of the second half Proctor and Drury missed good chances. They put a lot of crosses in but Goldson in particular dealt with them well.(MOM). A fair result.
