Birmingham City: Harry Redknapp named as new Blues manager Birmingham City have appointed Harry Redknapp as their new manager. The ex-West Ham, Tottenham and QPR boss succeeds Gianfranco Zola, who resigned on Monday following defeat by Burton. Redknapp, 70, took charge of Jordan for two World Cup qualifiers last year, and also worked as an advisor to Derby County last season. Birmingham are currently 20th in the Championship, three points above the relegation zone and face rivals Aston Villa on Saturday.
They deserve to go down for one of the most idiotic footballing decisions made in years, when they sacked Rowett whilst sat in 7th Horrible club anyway.
saw thread title & immediately this came to mind Come on come on Hurry up Harry come on Come on come on Hurry up Harry come on We're going down the pub We're going down the pub (Arseholed) PS what kind of ****wits are "running" this club ?
I actually like Redknapp. He's a good manager and should have been given the England job over that twerp Roy. Big ask this is though. 3 games. 1 against Villa and 1 against promotion chasers. Agree with sentiments about the terrible decision to sack Gary Rowett.
