Sorry if posted already but here's Ed Balls discussing moves afoot in the boardroom. He mentions a club restructuring being announced very soon. I'm wondering if dismissing Mr Neil was Delia's parting shot and the reins may now be handed over to nephew Tom? Most people who have met him have only good things to say, grounded, savvy, realistic, etc. So does anyone think this could be D + M's swansong or just another cosmetic, 'under-the-carpet' job - such as the re-naming of Ricky Martin's latest role? I'd agree with a director of football coming in, since McNally left nobody at the club has had a scooby about how the wheels of this multi-million commercial juggernaut turn. Hodgson would tick several boxes, worked with numerous clubs at home and abroad, vastly experienced, etc. What does anyone else a) hope and b) expect to see happen?
I have a free ticket for Barnsley due to my mates grandad getting ****ed off and going on holiday to America for a few weeks all I have to do is pay for lunch and buy the beers. Being a fat drunken bastard I imagine I will be at Carrow Road again next week.
I'm sure I posted a link to that somewhere earlier Cromer, but can't find it now and it's worthy of a separate thread. a. I hope we don't get Woy - he'd give the old codgers a year's extension and the yoof might as well pack their bags and move to a club where they would get a chance to play regularly. I'd LOVE to see D + M at the very least 'loosen the reigns' and let Tom take over along with a worthwhile CEO!!! b. It's all 'soundbites' and nothing much WILL happen!! Edit - I HOPE I'm 100% wrong with 'b' Yes DD, I'll be back in my usual seat this Saturday.
I think it's all talk and spin to stop the fans protesting against the board, and not buying up Season tickets. Also might be predicting a fan backlash when they announce another unknown Manager, or tell Irvine he has to run the team til the Summer. I doubt they have many plans in mind, but the fans want change, so he's promising plans of changes in the future.
Unless the board have been working on the restructuring plans for at least a few weeks, I'm not 'holding my breath' on what the changes may be announced later this week. Unless we see D&M relinquishing some of their powers, I fear that at future Old Farm derbies, there will be a minutes applause being exchanged for quite a few years in the future. #timetomoveon
This is just so true Well spoken yet again, Gary G http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...of-looking-forward-with-hope-in-their-hearts/
I've got you for plagiarism this time Cromer - I posted that in - http://www.not606.com/threads/alex-neil-sacked.344824/page-6 post #117!! My lawyers will be in touch!!!
I'm sorry buddy, there have been so many reporting, speculation, licking of wounds, etc articles in the last few days I've started to lose track! The Czech is in the post please log in to view this image LINDA VOJTOVA - Czech Supermodel - hope that's ?
So our masterplan in the restructuring once again involves trawling the world for the best talent only to find, surprise surprise that again Scotland is the source of all great footballing industry talent! Moss anyone? Maybe his first job can be to let us know which Scottish manager we should go for? and the current best Scottish players? He'll probably advise us that Whittaker and Martin are worth another 5 years! Bah!
Just seen in the EDP that the 'announcement' that we were promised this week, may now be delayed until after the international break!!!!
Again from the EDP - "Moss was part of the scouting network which helped take Virgil van Dijk and Victor Wanyama to Celtic while Moussa Dembele – who has scored 32 goals for the Hoops this season – credited Moss for his efforts with him when he signed last summer." Could be just what we need to recruit up and coming players and avoid splashing the cash on losers/OAPs like Naismith!!!
Quelle surprise! Unfortunately the new club structure was second on the to do list, I expect the arses and elbows will be sorted by the middle of April! Bah!
I think that Moss, or somebody like him is what we need in the DoF part of the new structure. It's also important that the DoF works well with the new manager, enabling him to manage rather than interfering, while at the same time overseeing long term development based on bringing in and bringing on younger players. As Gowers indicates, we aren't going to have the cash to splash in future, so a new way forward is needed.
Well, this is all a little underwhelming http://www.canaries.co.uk/news/arti...1989.aspx?utm_source=t.co&utm_medium=referral
Not quite what I was expecting and my main concern (and I'm sure that of ALL the fans), it's that there's no mention of D+M relinquishing some control.
