They're the only version of those that look alright imo. Every other design look like cheep kids trainers from Sports Direct. Would never wear a pair. They look and feel flimsy on my heavy footing. Doubt they'd last two minutes.

That happened to e when i was at school mate, rogues and loafers were all the rage back then with loads of segs in, (anyone remember them?) so i asked me mother to get me a pair of brogues, she got me a pair of imitation crocodile skin shoes with a brass buckle on the side i had to bunk off school for weeks cos she made me wear them
Panam, Nicks and Dunlops with the gum soles were pure poverty when I was a kid. Everybody wanted Reebok Pump or British Knights Hi-tops.
Dunlops were a thing for ridicule like. Pods were all the rage when I was at school, fashion wise. Tan or oxblood dealer boots but they had to have leather soles, tipped heels & be segged. Oxblood 24 hole Dr Martin's were also popular but not on PE days - took ower lang to get dressed, lol.
