Im at work so i cant get the link but theres reports today saying were linked with Cleverley on loan off Everton now that theyve signed Schneiderlein. Whats everyones opinion on this? Ive personally always thought he was pretty shyte but desperate measures call for desperate times and all that.
Not unless you buy or send back Denayer/Adnan first. Unless you're allowed another because it's only for a few months?
I definitely would not send back Denayer, however Adnan may happen if Lyon are wishing to buy him out-right. In any case I don't think that him (Cleverly) is any better than what we have? If it was to add numbers to the ranks i.e. a loan then yes. But if we were to sign him then a NO from me.
I would have taken him, tidy player with a few goals in him. Bearing in mind that he's the calibre of player we're going to be looking at there are worse options.
Yeah this - although I think the rule is you're allowed 2 in a matchday squad not generally but what would be the point of that. Adnan is being linked with Lyon today - and I also thing Cleverley is rubbish!
Lyon are a piss poor club, unless they've been through a takeover that I've not noticed. I'm not really bothered where he goes from now, he's got a lot of hard work to do and even then he'll never push the likes of Mkhitaryan or Martial out of the side.
He would have been okay on loan as we are struggling to put a team out. We've used our loans up, though. I wouldn't buy him because I'd put Rodwell, Cattermole and Kirchhoff, before him.
Wasn't he linked to us a couple of seasons ago and he made it known he didn't want to come, or am I imagining that. If that was the case we shouldn't be looking at him now however he is from DMs favoured north west.
No one should ever ever have to make this statement but, and I apologise upfront, I would prefer to have Jeff Whitley back than that useless c*nt. Cleverly thought he was summit everybody else realised he's a never was. F*ck right off with this crap. Just to summarise. Thats a no from me.
