my favourite was the adidas kit we wore around 87 just blue and white no red and the red and white halved adidas one from around 80 Chelseas orange and grey away one with coors on the front takes some beating for the worst
Agree with Beth on the iconic Guinness shirt. Still a big fan of the Dennis the Menace kit (in its various forms it still works).
Or why not a simple QPR "wide hoop" shirt with no sponsor from the 70's. e.g. Stan and a simple QPR shirt. Classic! please log in to view this image
I saw this years ago and it still sticks in my mind, just not enough tassels in the championship if you ask me...
I am sure No8 is Doug McClure. And no Ski he really is not up my street...he really doesn't look like a footballer or an athlete of any sort
Beth, I fully understand your point of view. But you are correct that there is a (facial) resemblance to Doug McClure. It takes me back to my very early childhood watching the Virginian. Courtesy of the internet I remember he played Trampas.
That is absolutely hilarious... especially considering all the technology they put into modern shirts to ensure comfort and performance - I would imagine that might chafe a touch - you'd be red raw after 90 mins. Agree about the classic Guinness shirt - something about the Adidas 3 stripes. Also much more fond of the round neck - current shirt is good, but the V neckline doesn't work for me.

Number 3 on here is my pick, purely because it was the kit we wore when I first got into football, and went to my first Rangers game; http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/top-5-qpr-shirts-all-time-football-shirt-friday-2405971.aspx
