The ten seconds of the season we actually get to sing Mauled by the Tigers is a highlight for me

Yeah was thinking the exact same thing.

Erm apart from our Mauled chant, which I love. Ya ****.

The chant is great, the spastic hand action not so much.

But then you're a Hull City fan. It's comfortable enough to say that when your club have 'The JAK' in goal.

The "stopping playing for Ranieri" period aside, to win the Premier League and be unbeaten in the Champions League at home, is quite some achievement. Probably one that won't really sink in for some time. Really enjoyed that game. Not quite the same level as our foray into Europe, still rankles that Brucie never gave us a proper shot at that competition.

We beat Lokeren here, after McGregor made an error there which made it 1-0 them. Picking MacShame for the game in Belgium didn't help.
Can't legislate for individual errors though.

Different story 2nd half but yeah they are a class outfit. So hard to break down. Think they will get to the final again

We went out on away goals. Had we not conceded at home we would have gone through. I forgot you thought Bruce was blameless for this, never understood why you thought that.

One of Bruce's biggest sins during his time here, and one I'll never forgive or forget, was the way he treated the European campaign. I'd waited 40 years for that and I might not see it again in another 40, and to chuck it away on some misguided attempt to finish 4th bottom - which we failed anyway - was shameful. **** the Premier League, I wanted a European run. Lokeren were really ****, an away win, a draw or even a defeat when scoring and we'd have probably gone through.

Oh, and I'm glad Lester got knocked out.

The saddest part is that he and any other manager would do it exactly the same again if given the chance. Modern football.

**** isn't it? And wasn't it the case that if we'd gone through we were in the group stage, guaranteeing multiple more games?

Steve Bruce was a very unlucky player to have never had a career of playing for his country; not much he could do about though. He was a massive fool to treat his/our historic foray into European football with such utter contempt.

They do say that what goes around comes around and it certainly did for him. He let us down, badly.

    You won't look 40 it if you're not 40.

Especially with not only no kids but no desire for kids.

Lying about your age, no kids, pedantic as ****, latching on to starry eyed female friends. It's almost as if you've never even fingered a bird, never mind shagged one.

Eh? I've never lied about my age on here. I'm over 40. FACT.

Which starry eyed female friends? And I've never once been pedantic, I'm just regularly correct.

It must have been the other thread you lied about your age on, either way...

Why what did I say? Please remind me as I don't think I have ever lied about my age in my entire life, never mind on this board. Why would I do that?
