If you were a full back would you want Lee Tomlin playing in front of you?

Has to play centrally. As he did after twenty minutes due to offering bugger all help to Little for twenty minutes.

Its a strange one as to why Mr Johnson persists in attempting to play Tomlin wide at all.

 

Just to add that first half, Tomlin had his best game for a long time. Confident running and got a clear penalty I could see from the South Stand was.

Still too many defensive errors. Wednesdays second goal started from this and the way the cut through us to score was embarrassing. I thought Brownhill played well too after thinking he was poor last time out. I would have thrown Djuric on a bit earlier but otherwise, I think he got his subs right on the night.

 

This was a good point against a side that will be top 8

We looked much better with Tomlin in the middle.

I suspect they were trying to get more mobile players in the middle of the park to get on Bannan??

unfortunately the weather front that came in about 10pm was just west of south the most intense part, fairly narrow, pretty much followed the line of the m5 and Bristol channel northwards I suspect SMHC got wet but not so much as you!

 

Completely agree with this. I like both LJ and GJ, but that's one fault which he seems to have inherited from his father. Square pegs, round holes...

 

The team did well to come back twice from a 1 goal deficit.
Given the current trend their heads could easily have dropped and they could have rolled over.
Perhaps there is a tiny spark of a recovery in there somewhere - did they look ok as a unit anyone who went?

 

Wasn't in reference to you. Was in reference to a comment about a post suggesting no matter what LJ does people will slate him. Goes both ways. There are people who have lost all faith in LJ and think he should have gone and 3 wins in a row wouldn't change their mind. But there are also those who live behind "he loves the club, leave him alone, so what if we have lost an insurmountable number of games since October, he's a young upcoming Bristol City legend in the making"; that will clap for him no matter what.
