I can't believe that Everton would ever consider Gros-thingy, or very little end product, as a serious contender..If I was an Everton fan I'd be about as worried as the average City fan is now.
Good reposte... Getting rid of the 'deadwood' did cross my mind..but selling our better players ie those who featured in the top 3 MOTM on numerous occasions can't be classed as 'deadwood', Also we've sold them for LESS than market value. Elmo's poor season. Davies dive in confident towards the end and Tom's lack of first team opportunities may put them into the 'deadwood' category. But Robbo, Jak and Mag are not. And the Ty sale displays a lack of a long term plan going forward. I think we'll know by October how costly those sales have proved to be.
YOU wanted us to keep MS........... WHY???? he was out of his depth in PL. oh the players that we got rid of didnt keep us up. so I say get rid and start again. you dont like change much do you?
World cup team were also known as Ramseys wingless wonders. All Citys 5 "forwards" scored double figures that season.
I try not to be critical of other people's posts, but if you really believe the above post you have shown an amazing lack of understanding of pretty much everything to with football. I'm mildly embarrassed for you. Just saying.
Mazuch looked good enough for the Championship. A clean sheet against Benfica will help his cause, pre season or not.
Tymon - hot prospect Robertson - good player, Premier League standard Maguire - very good player, England caps await him The rest of the deserters - I shrug my shoulders to. No great loss, as long as we get like for like, run of the mill replacements. We haven't seen the best of Hendrickson yet, and I've heard that he's more than capable of doing Huddleston's role in the team. We've already got the foundations of a top 6 team, a few new experienced heads in the room, to add depth to the squad and character to the changing room, which will be lacking with the departure of Davies, and we're one of the bookies favourites. I'm expecting it all to turn to ****, rendering this post a laughing stock come May, but I've been anticipating the worst the last couple of stints we've had in the Championship. Only to be proved wrong. I'm going to have some faith this season, at least until the transfer window closes, then we'll have a better idea of the Allams plans. Will they take us back to the PL then sell us, or cash in the tv money, and never be seen again. Either way if people care about City that much that the wrong outcome sends them into a depression, they are either brainwashed fools or NWO shills, or general thick ****s. The above comment may of been the result of sleep deprivation, spanning 106 hours. Ta ta.
