    Due to the results tonight saints cannot finish lower than 2nd therefore they have qualified, tomorrows game will decide the group winner!!

    Is it possible for them to be humiliated any further. They are skint, they play in the old fourth division, their stadium is derelict, they don't have a training ground of their own, they are destined to bounce around the lower leagues for ever and ever just like Exeter City. They are a forgotten club and until you brought the matter up I can't remember the last time their name even crossed my mind. Having said all of that all we need now is for Reading and Brighton to join Saints and Bournemouth in the PL and their humiliation will be complete.

    I'll answer my own question!
    Florin Gardos joined us on the 14th of August 2014 for 7.5 million Euros aged 25. He's played 17 times for Saints first team. He's now 28. I make that 440,000 Euros a game plus his wages. I thought Saints were pretty savvy financially? He must be good!
