Good and bad news on the injury front tomorrow, as the high flying Addicks entertain Posh in front of 7,000 hardy souls at the Valley. Karl Robinson is reporting that there is a chance that Declan Rudd will return in goal, and that Chris Solly and the hugely missed Ricky Holmes are getting nearer to a return. Jason Pearce is out for three months following his awkward fall at Bradford last week, and the portly trundler Lee Novak is also injured after dropping a large pork pie on his foot. Experienced Duchatelet-Watchers will know that Robinson is under pressure after a three game winless start. Predictions for tomorrow? Anyone going?
It's my first non-protest Valley game of the season. Robinson is talking up Posh on the OS, sounds a bit like Slade in that respect. Phillips won't be too pleased at being dropped, but maybe that's a condition of the loan? I still don't see a lot of goals in our side, however attacking Robinson's intentions, so for me it's 1-1 (Magennis)
Robinson does need a win tomorrow - Millwall away next [] followed by festive away fixtures at MK Dons and Southend. Can Karl survive a potential 7 game winless start, with Chris O'Loughlin waiting in the wings?
With January coming up, who would Roland trust more to spend whatever paltry portion of the Lookman/Konsa money he releases, Robinson or Congo Chris?
Is Robinson under pressure? 2 draws with a poor squad, trying to unshackle the crap Slade drummed in to the players. Last week people were gushing after Bradford. This week after a game most deemed pointless, he's under pressure? Madness.
3-2 win. Tex will score one of em. Unfortunately busy so can't attend. Next game is Southend away for me
Need a win for me whatever the injury situation. Don't like the way Robinson talks up the opponents it's get your excuses in first. As for Rudd coming back in goal bad move Philips has been brilliant deserves to start unfair to drop him .
It's my work do tomorrow so have to miss one of the games that actually appeals this season, I envisage goals, 4-3 Charlton, Lookman with all 4 adding another few mil to his transfer fee/Roland's pocket
Got a Yankee on us, Scunthorpe (crazy price at 7/4) Man Utd and Chelsea. So no doubt it will be Peterborough winning.
The whole team is completely disjointed. No improvement on Slade. Hopefully our hero manager can work the Oracle at half time.
0-2. January can't come quick enough. Is what someone would say if they knew they'd be investing in quality, rather than selling.
