Match Day Thread Charlton v Fleetwood

Today's game pits this seasons big under achievers in League One vs the big over achievers.

Fleetwood have done brilliantly on sub 3,000 home crowds, and they gave Slade's pedestrian side a footballing lesson up at their place.

Who will play at full back with Page suspended.

Should be a decent game from two attacking sides. Left back is the big question, have a feeling Chicksen starts there. KR does like curve ball so won't be surprised to see him go 3 at the back to eradicate the problem.

Holmes coming in should create a spark of creativity in midfield. Problem is Watt is still the lone striker. I rate him highly, but it's not an ideal role for him.

Think it will be 1-1. They lead for a while and we claw back from a strange goalscorer

 

Nick, I think you will find that Chicksen will start at Left Back

 

Watt is not effective in a 4-5-1 system.

Novak looked hopelessly slow and fat when he came on at Bolton last week, but maybe Robinson will go 4-4-2 with Watt and Novak up front.

Konsa has been great and must surely get a start again

 

Konsa in midfield then, which means 4-5-1 as Robinson appears to love Crofts.

Ricky is another one who looks nowhere near fit.

 

I will have 20 pound on it if you like. Robinson has said that Chicksen will play left back and Holmes will start on the left. I doubt he will change anything else. He has also said Ulvestadt will have to be patient.

It is going to be a shocking attendance today - the worst of the season. Fleetwood have brought fewer than 200 by the looks of things.

 

This must be our full strength line up today minus Magennis for Watt.

I think Chicksen is a better full back option than Page, although no world beater.

Pleased Konsa gets in ahead of Tex, who has been average recently. Bauer possibly lucky to keep his place.
