Huddersfield have sold 40,000 seats to their 'fans'.... The same 'fans' who only recently boosted their average attendance from 12,000 to 20,000. When we played them there were gaps all over the place in their stadium. The more I think about it I want Reading to win this one... I have a different view on things now... It will be 2-1 Reading but probably see a draw in full time.
Would prefer Reading to win. They are the bookies favourites. We Mags are also favoured by the bookies as are Cardiff.
If Huddersfield go up they'll be our closest away to drive to. In view of my preferred option not making it to the final, they're my preferred choice to win today, as they've put their side together to get this close with just £3.5million. That's just amazing, especially after nearly going through the trapdoor the season before. If Huddersfield do win, and they're the underdogs in my book, I can't see them investing much to stay in the Premiership, so will probably be hot favourites to go straight back down. But for today, up the Terriers.
That's it for me. Huddersfield will likely go straight back down so that'd be one of the relegation spots taken. Reading will put up much more of a fight in the Premier League IMHO which is bad for NUFC. Huddersfield seem like a bit of a spent force now though so I expect Reading to win.
Reading would have more pull to attract players because of location. Huddersfield are closer. The more northern teams the better. Woof woof Terriers.
I like both David Wagner and Jaap Stam but I'm rooting for Huddersfield as DW is German as is my mother. I just hope once it finishes a mod will pop us all into the premier league section right away
This is easily the worst play off final Ive ever had the misfortune to watch. I'm not bothering for 2nd half. That appalling early miss by the tit with the hair like an explosion in a mattress factory sums the game up
Them stupid ****ing clappers get right on my tits. First saw them at Leicester when their plastics got them out to 'make some noise'. Ffs.
This is one of the worst games of football I've seen for a while. Not a great advery got the championship. Hopefully it means prem teams will underestimate us next year.
The Championship this season has been far better than this crap it would have been 10 times better than this **** with Fulham & Sheff Wed
