But modern writing styles now allow for starting a sentence with And in some circumstances. But you still shouldn't start a sentence with But.

Its also not as bad as the time someone said they were going to update the Prediction League but spent their time pointing out how they pointed out to someone that 'Grammer Nazi' was spelled 'Grammar Nazi' instead.
