There's only Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham, that have won more points at home, this season. It's going to be an extremely difficult game. Moyes has us organised now, and, he can make us really difficult to beat. Burnley don't score a lot of goals and I fancy us to grab a 0-0 or 1-1, in this game. Our last games against the teams around us have been... Watford - Won Swansea - Lost Leicester - Won Hull - Won Bournemouth - Won That has to give us confidence because it's not the games against Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd that are going to determine whether we stay up, or not. It's these games down at the bottom and so far, Moyes, seems to be targeting them, perfectly.
TBF i thought we looked pretty decent against an in form Manure side, certainly a vast improvement over the first 15 games.
But for their home form they would be in the mire. To date they have only picked up 1 point. 9Dont smile though, we have only four). And as it is they are mid table with 20 points. The gap between the bottom three is already uncomfortably wide. The next Team above us have just appointed Sam, so history says they should get out of it. Lets hope for a Happy New Year.
Finally broke that part of the code! Anarl isn't even in my dictionary of Brittish Slang. http://www.peevish.co.uk/slang/a.htm
Burnley are unbeaten at home when they find the back of the net - and they are pretty much good for 2 goals/game at home vs. 1/2 goal per game on the road. But if we can manage to keep a clean sheet as did Swansea and Arsenal, then we have a good chance of capturing all the points. http://www.burnleyfootballclub.com/fixtures-results/fixtures-list/
A draw would be a decent result. Imagine if we'd nicked draws against Boro Palace and Swansea. Wed have 17 pts. They'd all have 3 less on the board. Double bubble
A definate must not lose match They are good at home but not with the vocal mackem fans town - hopefully - KTF
Its our most important away game since Norwich last season, for me we must target Burnley or it could be curtains for us as far as the Premiership's concerned.
Agree it's important but based on our past "must win" games really think this is a must not lose game - we need to target most games imo we can't pick and choose -all our games are vital. We have form of not winning winnable games against those around us . KTF
