You can cheer United on from the Centenary Pavilion or the newly-refurbished Billy’s Sports Bar as the lads look to bring three points back to Yorkshire. United’s limited away allocation of 1,300 tickets for the game (due to building work at Ashton Gate) . Both Bristol City and Leeds will be looking for their first win of the season. Leeds have had a slightly better start drawing at Reading at the weekend, and sharing the spoils at Elland Road v Burnley on the first game of the season. City lost 2-0 on the beginning day of the season at Hillsborough, got beaten in the Cup by Luton, and lost 4-2 at home against Brentford at the weekend. Luke Murphy is set to start his first league game of the season following minor knee surgery. The 25 yo will add some valuable experience in a very young midfield . Player player set to return is Bellusci. It was revealed by Rosaler after the match that the Italian was rested for the Reading game, and is set to start alongside Bamba. Leeds will be without Cook who serves his second of a three match ban. Rosler must decide whether to stick with Chris Wood up front or give Antenuuci a starting position. City's Luke Freeman (winger) serves his first of a 3 match ban for seeing red at the weekend.
Morning all and hope we pick up our first 3 of the season tomoz, but again another tough game especially after Bristol have lost every game so far. I think Wood needs to keep his place but given either Mirco or Erwin as a partner because we need to have more attempts on goal. Without having a shot we are not going ton score and having only 3 attempts per game means we need a fantastic conversion % to win a game. Reality shows us we need at least 4 attempts per goal scored so come on Rosler and arm the lads please with decent ammunition from the flanks and through the middle. If we get beat at Bristol and again at the weekend there will be calls for Rosler to go ......
Everyone knows my feelings about dogs ..... can't get enough of em mate, and now promoted in the milf dog league
Good morning from a very damp Bardsey I think we will win by 2 goals stick with Wood and don't drop Cooper would be my message why spoil the back 4 I would like to see Irwin alongside Wood so my team would be Silvestri Beradi Bamba Cooper Taylor Aeyemi Murphy Byram Erwin Wood and Dallas lets have more attacking options Subs Turnbull Antenucci Mowat Phillips Bellusci Doukaraand Wootton
Attack, Attack and whilst attacking the opposition are forced to defend and if they are defending they can't score ........ I should be the next coach if Rosler fails. I would even accept route 1 footy if it gave us results and sometimes against certain opposition route 1 is the way to play ..... did I mention I should get Rosler's job
Freeman is a big loss for us, think we would have won with him playing. We have to come good at some point so I reckon a 1-1 draw.
A 2:30 am post from Canada. I'm with supcon on this one because we need it big time, but then so do you. Your followers on 606 seem about as grumpy as our lot down in BS3 and after our great season last year it left us wanting more, but regrettably not yet. Can't stop I'm off to bludgeon a few seals - joke really!
Bit unfair to say we haven't had many attempts at goal, we had 9 shots at goal against Reading which isn't a huge amount but its not that bad for an away game and we had 15 shots against Burnley.
we ain't really. Most Leeds fans are the most fickle supporters in the world, if we beat you guys everyone will be saying we'll win the league no doubt.
I think they are going to start to click, new Manager is getting a good view of the players and i personally would play Wood and Antenucci up front, and get Dallas to work from box to box down the left channel and help Taylor out if need be, well definitely away from home this is how i would play it. As for the 1,300 travelling fans, the best fans in the land bar non MOT
I think Dallas is capable of doing that. Seems quite industrious and helpful defensively. I think dropping Mowatt seems unfair. I'd be tempted to keep the same team (probably bring back Bellusci though even if it is just rotationary).
Still waiting for Rosler's acclaimed heavy metal football to appear At the moment it's more like elevator music
Robbie McDaid has been called up to the Northern Ireland U21s http://www.leedsunited.com/news/art.../title/young-striker-earns-international-call
Morning Matt. Wurzels by 1 goal for me, you're quite tight at the back so far (only 1 conceded in 2 league games) and they don't concede many so giving them the nod with home advantage which was a fortress last season - admittedly at league 1 level.
