In the bigger picture this year, But good to see, how so completely They can play if they want to, here But more´s the shame, that one single game Will never a promotion make, Too often this year, they´ve failed to care And now is far too late to wake And any who drooled, must not be fooled We still need major surgery, And so Webber S, with Head Coach no less Will need to shop around expertly.
Yes sir, it is so frustrating to see the odd performance like this followed with a game or two where they just don't turn up. As good as they were yesterday, we've been there before with Brentford and Florists and one or two others!
Spot on Dave. We've had games where we have been sublime (I'd add the Derby home game to your list) but these have been far too few while games when we have failed to turn up or performed well below par have been far too many.
Afternoon Dave, yes, very baffling, certainly will not be banking my savings on a home win Good Friday.
strange how one freak performance can mess with people´s minds. 1-1 at best - we´ll be cock-a-hoop and over confident, and expect to do it again, and we know what happens then, while Fulham will be wary and warned, and happy to take a point.
With the players now having to play for their future at City, I can actually see a positive result, so I agree with you KIO. Not another trouncing, but a fairly comfortable 2-0 victory.
Must disagree RBF. under AN there seemed to be a sense of permanence to these players. They were going to get selected no matter what so they had no pressure to perform. Now that Pritchard is starting regularly we are seeing the true player, the one we believed we had bought. But he was totally messed around by the ex manager and probably regretted joining us.
Given that Fulham and Norwich share second place in the league scoring charts, I'd say there should be goals. Sadly, based on our recent defending, I think you're going to win 4-2
