With just one shot at goal on target then Clems honeymoon period is well and truly over......His flash in the pan has given us false hope and today has brought us back to earth not with a bump but with an explosion with the realisation we have blown our chance......Anything less than a win against Boro will seal it for me that we have to prepare for championship football next season.

After today I'm going to console myself in the fact that Sunderland are gone, Boro have not won in 10 games, Hull got battered today, and Palace have a really tough run of games....................

You cant get any worse than our run kiff... We should have been safe by now if you listened to all the hype.....As far as I am concerned then it is between Hull and us who will get the last relegation spot....

 

Palace's run in is actually worse.

 

Palace have won their last 3 games without conceding a goal thanks to fat Sam who I detest ...but when we cant beat bottom sides then we don't look to have an easy run in either.....I fancy Fat Sam to keep palace up than Clem with us unfortunately....

 

Well I do agree that the teams just above us are all improving. Not good.

 

Did we peak to early ? I think that could be the case and I don't like International breaks normally but I think we need this one....I wish we could get a couple of defenders on loan for the last 8 games.....We have one foot in the grave now and it's not as if we will win the remaining games left enough times to save us....It's all in the lap of the gods and other teams results from now on in as winning some of our remaining games may still be not enough...

 

Let's hope Man Utd don't fail in their duty of beating Middlesbrough.

Utd winning 2-0. Middlesbrough are awful and if we don't beat them then we don't deserve to stay up.

Utds pace is killing them. If Montero or Narsingh don't start against Middlesborough then I'll be very disappointed. I'd love to see both Montero and Narsingh on the wings and Gylfi in his natural position. I'll be pissed if Gylfi is on one wing and Ayew/Routledge on the other.

Man Utd game was not in doubt that they would win, It is the couple of teams above us with their game in hand I really want to see lose.....We need to keep them with us but it's out of our hands. I am still of the opinion that the last place is between Hull and us but what has changed is we now have a better goal difference than Hull and it is they who need that extra point now as they cannot finish on the same points as us.......Hopefully we will start to pick up points soon but clem is going to have too motivate the players better especially Gylfi & Llorente and the defenders who have all been poor in recent games that it's hard to understand Why they are not putting in the same effort they did with clems early games....I hope this international break will sort this out....
