KC Group have the stadium naming rights until 2025, so we're lumbered with it. We have the worst kiosk service I've ever seen(other than Scunny, who serve no beer, but still take forever), we employ people who don't speak English, people who move unnaturally slowly and people who are just generally dim. If the aim of our concession kiosks is trying to provide the worst service you possibly could, then they're doing a grand job. It's just as bad in the members bar, the main bar has improved slightly, but they have a temporary bar in the corner which must have some sort of 'care in the community' staffing policy.
What i dont understand is why they dont have someone walking up and down bringing service to the seats like in most american sports would ease some of the pressure that the staff would be under as some would have already been served befor half time
Vending machines selling bottles( plastic) of ale would cut the queue down no end .The one thing I don't miss about BP are the toilets.Going for a piss was akin to entering the front line at Ypres.Piss and muck everywere.
some of the comments on this thread are great, really making my day. I dont understand even with a limited amount of english someone can not understand the few simple words needed, Beer, pasty, pie, kit cat, coke thats about it and then usually a number between 1 and 5. my 2 year old can count to 10 for christ sake.
It is KitKat and I just checked it in Swahili and translates as KitKat, I also checked beer and that's bia, so I can't see why they're having so many problems.
''Kuungua moto kuku pie, kavu nje mbwa moto na mbili chai tafadhali'' (Burning hot chicken pie, dried out hot dog and 2 teas please) Although if you then Google translate it back to english it says ''Severe hot chicken pie, hot dogs and dry out two tea please''
mbili pints ya bia ambayo yamekuwa akamwaga muda mrefu sana na kukaushwa nje pie kwamba mimi bila chakula kwa mbwa tafadhali.
What a great game. "That Manucho couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo" into swahili and back again brilliantly becomes "That Manucho could not hit a cow and a donkey a Banjo"
It was a pie that I wouldn't feed a dog, rather than me having any desire to eat a dog pie, but it's close enough.
Hmm, "With Dean Marney around no corner flag is safe" becomes "And Dean Marney corner flags around there is safe" Is this what sports scientists do to improve players? Some quasi-hypnosis?
Back to the original topic of the article, the KC was exactly what the club and city needed. It plays such a pivitol role in everything thats going on such as football, concerts, rugby, conferences and other events. When we were in division 3 it became so easy to attract players with a stadium like the KC, they only need to look around to see the club was going places. The stadium provided a lot of motivation and ambition and there is no way we would have got anywhere near the prem if we were still at Boothferry, it elevated our clubs status and reputation massively.
No chance. Love BP all my heros played there but KC is the way forward. Is John Firth still around? Was he last in uk?
Support the local pubs and help keep them in business - cant understand why anyone wants to give even more money to those pair of ****s
