    Derp, I'd forgotten about Leeds (easily done). So Stam and whoever partnered him (Johnsen).

    I guess that really mean I have to vote for Stam, who isn't on the list.

    Conceptually Stam and Ferdinand would have been excellent.

    Best actual partnership is probably Ferdinand and Vidic or Bruce and Pallister over the years.

    yeah, I always think you need 2 different styles of CB in a good pair, a powerful bully and his sweeper

    Walker was an excellent CB, but his best years were pre-EPL. Busst, you bastard, got that picture in my head now, and Caldwell, he was a good buy in football management games
