Looks like we're heading to our first loss of the season. Wish it hadn't been a loss where we were spanked so badly though.
Wow, a fumble on a kick reception, two attempts to get one measley yard to get first down and not getting them, interceptions, more fumbles, why are we so bad today?
We are the first decent team Vikings have faced in their first 6 games. Plus - our D showed up - which made a contest out of it. Also - Bradford doesn't have many good days at the Linc.
Like TP vs Big Sam - this Seattle @ Arizona - awful or defensive master piece. Kicker misses potential win FG from 20 yards in Over time. Game tied 6-6. 2 mins to go in OT now.
Seattle kicker misses potential winning FG from 28 yards with 10 seconds to go WTF - Game ending in Tie.
our D was so bad in the last 2 road games. They had to show up. It was a coincidence against poor Bradford & Vikings. I just hope they do the same in Dallas next week. But We are the toughest opponent Vikings have met in their opening 6 games. That says a lot about their 5-1 record. But NFC North isn't great either this year, with Lions pulling off some lucky undeserved wins. Rodgers looking un-Rodgers like. You don't have to worry a thing. You can still win NFC North.
NY Jets QB carousel over the past two seasons - Geno Smith "because we invested a high draft pick in him" to Ryan Fitzpatrick by a knockout "literally" then back to Geno Smith because the real Ryan Fitzpatrick showed up and now, Ryan Fitzpatrick because Geno's ACL went "pop" on a clean hit last week and he is out for the year. Ryan Fitzpatrick has bunkered and says nobody believes in him. No kidding - nobody came in to bid on him as a Free Agent last Summer! Jets coach says he is happy that Ryan is playing "mad" because it might mean he won't turn the ball over again. Such is the drama that is being a Jets fan. No franchise QB since Joe Namath...
Uh, I don't think so. Circling the drain and one loss away from being eliminated from the playoffs. The only joy left is to try to beat divisional rivals and act as spoiler for everybody else.
Lol the jets have been a travesty for a few years now. What was the full story with Rex? I thought he had you boys going places a few years back but he seemed to just lose it
Jets were ok under Ryan. QPR NY can correct me. Ryan took them to playoffs once and beat Patriots once or twice. That was his accomplishment. With the new stadium and revenue Jets did expect more and they scaled up I guess.
thats what i mean, he took them to the championship game a few times with the cromatie and revis combo and i believe they had an aggressive blitzing game they were shutting teams down. Then something happened and ryan had a few bad years and we haven't really heard from him since
Mark Sanchez had talent around him and the team went to the AFC Championship Game two years in a row. Then management started tinkering with the team and, combined with key injuries, the train went off the rails. One of the big factors was having poor Drafts two years in a row. You can't find a decent high draft pick from those days on the roster now. The new administration has begun to correct the problem. The last two Drafts were good. The key issue now is "who is the next great QB?"
started watching NFL weekly and the NFL football show on the way to work (iplayer downloads). Loving the chemistry between bell, osi and chapman. Enjoying the banter between them as well as getting a general round up on the NFL. Oakland also winning again!, surprised how well we are doing
Not NFL related, but in UK American Football, Birmingham Lions lost in XpLosION for the first time in years against the Bath Killer Bees. Considering they went several years without even conceding any points, it was a bit of a surprise.
