Have to agree with this piece from LFW. This lad is going to be a real fans' favourite. http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/queensparkrangers/news/45342
It's a very good piece by the lad and shows what a good bit of business was done by IH, LF & LH in getting Freeman here for a bargain price....... BTW like the new avatar Strolls.....
Does he remind anyone else of Lee Cook? He's got that same kind of snappy acceleration and flair. Sadly, he hasn't got the lethal left footed cross of Cookie.
watching Bristol City v.Huddersfield in the pub, I thanked a City fan watching the game for Luke. I just smiled when he went into one about him being just a show pony
Cook was lacking in physicality and aggression to be a top player. Hopefully Freeman has more of a bite in him.
With a couple of exceptions, I think it fair to say that he's come into the side during a run of games against more limited opposition and exploited that to the full. I'm not saying that he won't continue the great form but it will be interesting to see how his style and physical limitations plays against the likes of Brighton, Derby, Villa and Wednesday. It's the partnership with Manning that get's me excited and IH would do well to build around this combination.
