Oh this doesnt sound good for Roberto's vision of the beautiful game and how we should play. http://www1.skysports.com/football/...martinez-fears-state-of-olympic-stadium-pitch Will the players dump his philosophy and go long to the big man, how will the technical players of Kiev manage on this rubbish?? Have the excuses come early from Roberto?
If the pitch is uneven then we need to sack off the "to me, to you" on the edge of our own box. As it is, I think he'll try and draw them out tonight and look to hit them on the counter.
Do you reckon we'll do it tonight mate? I'm cautiously optimistic, but I reckon we'll need to score. I'd hate to see it going into the last 10 @ 0-0.
He has shown he Is not capable of turning a bad run around so at the moment any furker as far as Im concerned I predict more of the same next year otherwise... Look at our defending under him
But who comes in? We kept Moyes who was goal shy, he made Goodison a striker graveyard. Martinez goes and say goodbye to Rom and McCarthy
You are assuming that this will be a regular thing and not just a blip. That a poor season is the best way to judge. He has started to rebuild the agony squad and added Rom, Besic and McCarthy. Would moyes have attracted Rom? We wouldn't have had Besic, probably signed Fletcher from United
Martinez has shown nothing this season to suggest It Is only a blip though? There has been no changes In games to turn things around etc etc Just predictable crap etc
Asking for anyone to come in to get shot is stupid. Fat Sam will be free next season by all reports, would you want him. Sure Rom and McCarthy will be gone then! It's funny how people say it was the Moyes effect that helped him last season, however we were better in the final third than the first third of the season. The development of Stones. Many claimed he was caught by the diagonal last season.....how has martinez managed to coach that out of him?
If you're giving him the credit for that then do you accept that he's turned Barkley into an average player? He's turning us into Wigan mate, it's ****ing terrifying to see the parallels. Take Lukaku out of that side with the way he's had us playing and we'd have gone down.
Then we can only thank him for being respected enough to attract a player of Roms quality. Imagine how we would have got on with Sam. But Barkley, who do we thank for trusting him last season and getting the best from Stones? Injury have robbed us of seeing the same again from both
