I must be in a minority!! I like the home shirt! The solid back panel doesn;t bother me either - We had one on the 3rd strip last season and no-one had an issue with it

Would you rather have the Brentford top Marcus, or the one we got?

I'd rather ours was more like the Brentford one - but that only means I prefer it rather than dislike ours.

What did you think of this one? (not sure how old you are or if you remember it but I do)

It was one that grew on me

Like is a stretch but it looks better on the pitch than it does as a 2d image. I hate solid back panels usually but I've seen worse.

I remember that one. The Venison, McCoist days.
I actually liked it, but back then I thought mullets and farah slacks were cool... !

Each to their own, eh. I've only seen ours in photo's or worn during highlights. But Brentford's is a proper footy top - one I'd get, which is rare. Well done them for swinging that one with Adidas, instead of the deck chair look.

Looks like it's flying off the shelves. Good to see. Bit of extra cash for the club.

If only the home one wasn't a stinker

Don't want to be negative, but our play is more likely to be nearer Coventry City

We must be similar in age. I had the Umbro one before this as my first strip, but the Le Coq Sportif bad boys were the ones that I loved

42 on Saturday coming mate - That pin stripe strip was hated by loads at the time - it's loved by those same people now (and came to be loved more through the time we wore it).

Think this seasons will end up in a similar vein to be honest

Site techy problems - but at least it's not a typo'd quote and it's pretty solid imo

Hopefully it'll be remembered as the strip in our last season(s) as a feeder league team :emoticon-0112-wonde ... at least it's a positive thought

Unfortunately not mate, shirt sales go to Adidas, who pay the club a fixed amount per season. That amount is negotiated in line with forecast and actual sales so we wouldn't see anymore cash until the deal expires and we renegotiate.

As we are outside of the Prem, that deal will be a fraction of what we get now as there's less brand exposure for Adidas.

I like the front of the new home shirt, but not the back. Apparently it is a close match to our original red and white shirt when we couldn't stop winning the league even if we'd wanted to.

Should have been the same theme on the back - and as a matter of fact players should be made to go out with the same thin red and white stripes face-painted.

Money-grabbing away shirts should be banned. All teams playing away should play topless.
