The very fact that it is in The Mirror makes me think that there is something in it I'm afraid. Would our 'official media partner' risk that privileged position to print some made up ****e? Especially as it is directly about Ashley too................ we all know how vain and thin skinned he is. Face it lads, he has kept well away and things have been going canny................... as soon as the fat **** starts sticking his beak in again the wheels will surely start to fall off.

While I am no fan of Mike Ashley it should be remembered in the past few years he has lost hundreds of millions in his business dealings, he would naturally be treading very carefully in everything he does , you are fortunate that he has such a genuine love for N.U.F.C

 

Thing is we have to do this. We have to find players and make profit, it's the only chance we have at getting near the higher echelons of the league. It's a balance, of course, but look at Everton and Southampton, surely that's our level? If we rely solely on income from the PL, we'll just end up down the bottom.

What we've become terrible at is finding decent young(ish) players.

That said, how comes the media can easily pick up on this negative-hype-creating story, yet repeatedly have no idea even where Ashley is, let alone what he's thinking.
