It's Xmas music I'm sick of. I can tolerate Xmas music for about a month, but once It hit the 5th or 6th week of it it begins to puss me off. I hate how it starts playing in October now

Bro I was saying this back in August when they start pushing this ****

As i said christmas shiz should be restricted to December 1st to 12th day of christmas and that goes for everything, decorations, foods, lights, music, costumes, markets etc etc

I do like Christmas but how anyone can feel truly christmassy really before the week in which Christmas day falls is beyond me. Trees and decorations should really go up around December 12th any time before that is just frankly sad and overkill and ruins it like you say because it's far too early meaning that when the day itself comes it doesn't feel particularly special. In a lot of Europe it's traditional to decorate only on Christmas Eve.

We're just gradually and quickly absorbing this meaningless corporate, capitalist, retail version of 'christmas' like in the states which is purely about shopping and spending money

It's worse here because it's still short sleeve and shorts weather until mid November. Hard feeling xmassy when autumn leaves are still peaking.

Only until mid-November ?! ... when it suddenly drops to minus temps and you have to break the sleigh out to get around

That's funny actually. Am getting a new car soon and was contemplating all-wheel drive over rear wheel drive due to thinking about snow issues but nah i'm not sacrificing my driving experience when I can just sack work off the one day a year it's too snowy to drive

November is odd we will have mid 20c one day and frost the next. December and January is colder here than most of England but nowhere near as wet, doesn't rain much in winter so more tolerable. February is like November, frost one day and t-shirts the next.

It's been very variable here for the last month or so, more than I can ever remember, had snow and freezing temps several weeks ago down to about -2/3C and now it's back to being very very mild like 10-12C even after dark

If we get snow it's usually in February when it starts to get wet again.

At HT yesterday we went out and hung up the few icicle lights we bought this year round the front door area.

    it looked well.

you lot have resisted long enough now. stop torturing yourself. you've fought the good fight and now its time to enjoy yourselves FFS.

just suck in the joy out there... but don't look like a peado doing it ok.

Didnt here an xmas song until 1st December and even now it's only 1 in morning on way to work and 1 on way home. Only last couple weeks of December seem to ramp it up.

    Much more pleasant that way.

I start off trying to stay positive about Xmas and end up feeling like the Grinch by November 30th because it is so overdone.

What's worse is coming home and the Mrs has Pandora playing on the TV. My wife's Xmas music list is always, full of high pitched irritating "straight no chaser" songs.

I'm so annoyed!!! I'm never going to help anyone ever again!!! Either I'm too kindhearted, or I'm too STUPID... It was so cold last night when I was walking home from the pub that my heart sank when I saw this man standing out in the FREEZING COLD.
My first instinct was to take this man into my home and let him stay the night.
I'm so pissed off, right now...
This morning I woke up and he had vanished without a word, not even a goodbye or a thank you. The last straw was when I realized he took a HUGE PISS all over the living room floor....
That's the "thank you" I got for being a good person!!! WTF!!!
So let me warn ALL of you, watch out for this man!!! He is WHITE, heavy set, wearing nothing but a scarf, he has a nose that looks like a carrot, and two big black eyes, and his arms are so skinny they look like sticks!!! So don't bring him in to your house, what a huge mess he made on my carpet"......
