Newcastle lose, Spurs lose, Loserpool draw, Chelsea draw. Good for us I suppose. We won't catch the Mancs anyway.
I don't see that as completely good, because it basically means we failed to take advantage, 3 points would have meant us moving further away from Pool, going above the Spuds, and going closer to Chelsea, but we basically missed out on making some good ground.
That was yesterday though, what's done is done. After yesterday's pile of ****, today's results are probably the best thing that could have happened.
Now Kyle?, Arsenal 87 might take that statement as a personal insult and respond to you in a very derogatory manner. We don't want to go hurting his feeling now do we?
I'm seriously concerned about this season. We just don't seem to be able to get it together. And we have no-one to save our bacon, as we have in previous seasons.
Judas saved us from finishing outside the top 4 last season . Im not sure that long term ,that was a good thing. Seemed to just paper over the cracks for another season . I cant see whos gonna make the difference this year . Gervinho ? Giroud ? Even if they start playing blinders every game , the defence will leak more than they score. The only positive is that other teams ( except the filth ) seem to be unable to get started too .
RvP was important but you seem to be forgetting the other players that contributed. For all he is he is still only 1 man in a 1 team game.
