That's extremely generous ! I'd be willing to paypal over a £5 to the winner. I reckon if enough people do likewise then we could build up quite a pot for the winner.

The rule has to be though that you can only win the money if you are willing to put in also. Maybe we should ask for a list of those who are willing to put some money into the pot.

Probably wouldn't, but you never know. I wouldn't do it. Still back the plan if HIAG enters the competition? He won the one I did for the World Cup on our board.

Good idea. We can all contribute, except me obviously as the winner.

 

HIAG is banned from our board so he can't enter. I think G4E's idea is probably best, to donate £25 to the winner's charity. I'd be willing to put £10 towards that too.

I predict Arsenal to finish above Spurs again.

 

I predict Chelsea players to fall out with their manager and get him sacked mid-season.

One bad year since 1996 is not such a disaster especially when we have a brilliant new manager and players who are looking forward to committing themselves to him plus brilliant new additions to revitalise the team. I'd imagine with all this we will again be contenders as per previous years pushing back teams that punched above their weight .

Lets hope you are correct and Chelsea get relegated to the Championship where their hard core fans can enjoy partying with Leeds, Cardiff, Birmingham and Millwall and are never to be seen in the PL again. Who will their glory hunting "supporters" get behind then? Perhaps they'll adopt Barcelona instead which they should have done in the first place.
