I'm a Hull fan visiting Watford for the first time ever in my life :)

Are there any decent pubs in the centre, especially with a beer garden?

I'll be arriving at Watford Junction, I believe the stadium is within walking distance?

    Ta.

Depends what time you get there James - if you head down Clarendon Road you get to the high street there are the usual pubs: "Moon",Yates etc - but if you then have time and head to your right , past the pond and under the underpass you get to the Horns - I always liked that and it has a small garden - it is only ten minutes walk to the ground from there

Thanks, I think I might try the Horns then - hoping to get there about 1230 so should be enough time.

Is the garden of the Horns still under cover? I must admit, I generally go there when i come home to Watford... especially on a Friday night!! For match day, I tend to go to the Walkabout as get to watch the mid-day match before heading over to the ground!

The garden of the Horns had lots of those large parasol things last time I was there
