...........................and another thread about Steve Cotterill on the Gas Chat Forum FFS some Gasheads are obsessed with the bloke and the moderators don't even move to general chat they would be delated if I was in charge
Strange how you have made a thread about it instead of keeping it to the general chat (pub thread) It was only last night when I took an actual interest in a City game this season. I did says weeks and weeks ago that I thought they would easily survive and end mid table. But that was on the basis that they would sign what they need straight away in this transfer window. I believed Lansdown would do this straight away as he wouldnt want to risk relegation. But it seems they are struggling finding players. A friend of mine mentioned last night after their game that he is cheesed off that they hadnt signed someone yet when it was obvious for months that reinforcements was needed. He said someone should have been lined up ready to sign on day 1 of the transfer window. He said there are a couple of players in league 1 and 2 who would jump at the chance for championship football who could make the step up. He thinks City will stay up as there will be 3 worse teams and that City are actually playing well but just need a little bit of luck. I trust his judgement of his team as he knows more about them than I do. So I believe City will still stay up. Although seeing that clip last night of Cotterill shouting at his own fans did make me chuckle.
If they haven't got a manager lined up I think it will do more damage to their cause than good, difficult game against Middlesbrough coming up and the lower they drop in the division the more difficult it will be to attract players and then their fans will get on their backs and that won't help either
I wouldn't say Bolton were a big club myself they are a famous old club though with quite a bit of history
The Zac Clough 10second is reported on sky sports transfer news he says that Bolton are a bigger club than Bristol City
