Absolutely spot on. Nolan was a twat last time, a twat this time and a twat every time I see him. I like the way he tried to fight Lallana today; what a tough guy.

The way he was following Lallana around trying to bully him into a reaction ... prick.

Funnily, he wouldn't go near Lambert in that way.

I've slightly alluded to it on Godders' thread, but there is not a footballer out there (past or present) who I hate more than Nolan. As a footballer, I cannot stand the bloke. I don't remember the last time I got as angry, and as vocal, as I was at him towards the end of that first half.

Players like Savage, Terry, Diouf, Nugent, Taylor, Holt, Evra all take the biscuit with me, but Nolan really is in a league of his own. Despise him so, so much. As I've said on the other thread, a vile, vile footballer.

Some guy behind me also didn't. In fact, when Jarvis' name was read out, he assumed it was Jarvis who was coming on.

Yes, good point. Very good point.

    Still behind Nolan though.

Delph had better be careful, because his career is going down this path too.

I think the situation was made worse by a referee with no control on the game...he and his assistants were a complete embarrassment
We have seen some real bad ones this year but this knob really took the biscuit

Mike Dean completely lost control of the game by about the 35th or 40th minute. You should never see that from any ref, but especially not a PL ref. Thankfully he managed to regain some sort of control in the second half, but yes in the first half he was a disgrace.

Agreed..... I hate slagging refs, but I think there's a great irony in the week that Hawkeye has been agreed, mike dean plus his poorly used assistants put in a hapless performance.... Wish the FA would acknowledge when refs are poor, and retrain as appropriate....

No irony there - hawkeye only being used for the goaline calls.

Expecting to see a lot of Carroll plaudits tomorrow .... such an over-rated player by the media. They seem to love him.

This was from the classy as ever Sun.

He likes pointing doesn't he, looks threatening without having to get himself in an actual fight. Was it Nolan or Taylor that got sent off last year for grabbing Billy Sharp by the neck, I can't remember.

I also like the fact Pochettino took it upon himself to beat up the 4th official, well done that man!
