Of course this is Charlton related... Going to Dam with 3 mates this weekend, anyone else been? Any recommendations? Shame I have to miss the Sheff Utd game but I'm sure I'll enjoy my weekend regardless.
I was there when the wall came down in 1973. It's a strange place but you enjoy it buddy. Have a great time pal.
People will probably now bore you to tears by suggesting their idea of the "best" coffee shop in the Dam, to be honest the smaller ones are the best but I like to use one with a cake shop right outside for when I get peckish. Don't bother visiting Anne Frank's house, a complete waste of time, i'd rather clamber about in my own attic looking for leaks.
last time i was there Tiesto was playing in Dam square, 9 yokes down the hatch and buzzing for the night listening to the greatest deejay ever all for free, good times , im sure it'll be nothing like that for you though look out for the black fellas , selling ''coke, speed, x maan'' they'll kick your **** in if you make eye contact
There is something hugely satisfying and liberating about being able to buy a ready made reefer as if it were an everyday occurence.
There's a law coming in (if it hasn't already) which limits use of coffee shops to members only, so you'll probably have to find someone to buy weed for you
It's not been brought in yet and there is still some dubiety whether or not it will. Luckily for me my sister lives there so i'm allright Jack.
Aye just you think of yourself and no-one else. Easy to tell you were a squaddie and a pig in your day.
Went a couple years back- but I guess it's what your looking for over there... I assume you don't want the VG museum or Ann franks house etc
Cheers for the (preditable) responses guys. No hookers for me though, in a relationship so see no need to pay for what I can get for free on a regular basis.
If you're taking the burd (or boyfriend - we're not homophobic on GC) there is plenty to do: lots of museums, art galleries, canal cruises etc.
