I think he should be used as a live model for road testing Range Rover crashes at speeds of over 120mph.
Treble made a valid point, in a roundabout way. Some folk are still defending him, not just on here, but on Twitter for example. I don't think you need to collectively hang your heads in shame, but there are some, like Marcus has just illustrated, that appear to be more concerned with technicalities than the fact that Johnson groomed an underage girl into sexual activity. Tooing and froing over what sentence he should have got and how his was harsh, ffs, if somebody his age touched my 15 year old daughter up, nothing short of putting the bloke through a meat grinder and setting his mince on fire would be enough for me, 6 years is **** all, I hope he gets murdered in the most brutal way possible.
I don't even think he's a ****. I just think he's a ****ing ignorant, stupid twat. Whole career down the pan & he didn't even get a shag out of it. Thick ****. Couldn't give a toss what happens to him.
It's quite easy to see the difference from the law's point of view, to be fair Tobes. In my view, it's best to shoot this guy in the mouth just to make sure, but I don't make the rules.
Why though? When you read the story - the charge of "Rape" only comes about because she's under 13 - he didn't know that, people who have seen her (including a judge) said she looked over the age of consent - therefore, in his eyes, he's had sex with someone who he thought was 16 - he admitted the rape (statutory rape technically) as soon as he found out how old she actually was so he's obviouly remorseful with all of the fact in front of him
Because he could be lying, take no chances I say. Like I say though, I'm not making the rules... so he'll be ok.
This would never happen to me as I only shag older birds. And I'm 50 next week so nee getting it rang there marra.
But imagine if she told you she was 50 - and she was only 35 - you'd be devastated!! Happy birthday for next week in case I forget marra! Thing is - in most cases, when the "girl" complains about it (i.e. the underage one) then the bloke will get done almost every time (happened to one of my mates who didn't technically ask the age of the girl he was buying drinks for in a nightclub - he's now on the register despite being with me (I was sober) all night and me never once hearing her tell him she was only 15 - I also saw loads of cases like this when working for the courts service) If she'd told the police "Yeah he knew I was 12" then he'd be in jail now - my guess is that she didn;t as the entire story says it was consensual and, the chances are, he thought she was old enough at 04:00 in a taxi queue!
TBH mate, I've only read the thing Tobes posted, I'm not interested in making my own assumptions on what happened. Let me just put it this way, if somebody is 12 years old and they look 20 years old, all that means is that 12 year old's can look 20 years old, so a man's drunken radar is probably the last thing he should be relying on as a gauge. That person has to look over 25 to buy fags nowadays in Tesco, if men used that same sort of system before pulling their nob out, then I'd imagine this sort of thing would happen less.
Aye too true! I reckon every straight bloke has looked at a girl at some point in their over 18 life and thought "Hell yeah I would" then found out they're only 14 or 15 and sharply retracted the thought (well I have for certain) Also - if we used your term for "looking over 25" I'd never have started seeing my wife - she was a young looking 21 year old when we met (she's now a young looking 31 year old) but I was sober so maybe not so bad
mate, I'm not saying men should only approach girls who look 25 and up. I'm saying it makes sense to check. The 'well she looked 18' is the lamest excuse in the book... oh she told me she was 16... oh did she now? Well that's alright then. The 10 seconds it takes to ask the girl for ID, might be ****ing ridiculous but it beats doing a stretch in the pen. If she says no, then make a sharp exit, go home and have a tug.
To be fair, only BAZ said he thought the sentence was too long. No one's defending him that I've noticed. He's dead to all of us imooc!
