As Gary Monk said - Badly advised. I'll look past it considering his age. Would take him in a heartbeat. Cracking player.
I wouldn't worry about it. Modern footballers are all tosspots. If that was the barometer you wouldn't sign anyone. Better players than him have done it before and will do again. Just the way they are now. These agents have their hand shoved up their arse like a ventriloquist
I like Joe Bryan too. I think him and Flint from there would be interesting. Of course they haven't done particularly well so some would look and think - no thanks. But Wigan were poor and Ryan Taylor and Baines were useful players.
Tammy Abraham is going to be a good'n too. Do you remember Amr Zakhi from Wigan? For one season only he was a beast in the premier league.
Tammy Abrahams is like Andy Cole and we know how that turned out. I would snap him up now. Bags of potential.
Chelsea would ask for £10m -15m and we'd make a chunk of that back from the sale of Dwight Gayle so I would be happy about that myself but would want a more experienced striker to join him. If we really do have a large budget I would wait and see about the Ross Barkley situation as he has until Monday to accept his offer of a new contract at Everton since Ronald Koeman has warned he will be transfer listed unless he signs.
Barkley has supposedly had his head turned by CL football at Spurs. Or rather watching Dele Alli and Cristian Eriksen play CL football.
