England missing some main players up front and it shows. Itoje is nothing like as effective having to switch positions and we are coughing up possession in the tackle. The strongest England team is now also excellent at the break down, but this one isn't.
Wales could power away in the 2nd half.

No problem spotting that high tackle though eh ref? Morriatty is making some huge hits, but he shouldn't be on the field.

 

Wales are playing very well and England are being battered. especially the back row.

It's a cracking game. Wales should be home and dry with the pressure they put us under but somehow we're still in it. What odds we'll nick it at the death?...

This is some England squad. I've screamed myself hoarse and I've got a ****ing audition next Saturday.

Wales were very good, but this England team is shaping up to be something very special.

The mark of a great team is winning when up against it both in the match and missing top players. We have strength in depth and a coach who is never happy whatever the performance and strives for that bit more every time. If only we'd had him in charge before the last World Cup...

 

Thoroughly enjoyable game of rugby, credit to both teams and an amazing atmosphere in the stadium. Really looking forward to the Dublin match.

 

That was some test match...brutal but not in the thuggish sense.......proper rugby......

One hell of a result for England to grind out.....

 

It was proper sport played by proper sportsmen (even Farrell gave a smile after that very late hit). Both teams were a credit to their countries.

 

That was an amazing game,and for England to win it just shows how strong our winning mentality is. If we have a full squad to chose from come the next World Cup,i honestly can only see the All Blacks stopping us from winning it. Obviously we will have some players missing by the time it comes around,but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they aren't the key players. We miss Billy Vunipola and Kruis so much,but we're still finding a way to win. Long may it continue !
