I guess Jenkins is on the easy list Beefy until they decide what to do with him. Can't see him making the Supreme and they might even show him a fence at home. Plenty of scope, should make a nice chaser.
Is Moon Racer injured?!? David Pipe was quoted at the weekend as saying they would decide at the 5 day stage as to whether or not he went for the Supreme Novices or the Champion Hurdle. They are considering the latter due to (i) the large number of high profile defections and (ii) Moon Racer is not a young horse (an 8YO) and unlikely to get too many more chances to compete at the very ‘top table’. Jenkins is still very prominent in the betting for the Supreme Novices despite his Kempton Park reverse (generally 20/1 but as low as 16’s in a place). His reputation is certainly ensuring that those bookie chappies are taking very few risks re this one.
In regards MR he had a setback hence not being on the track since Cheltenham. Was due to run mid February was last I'd read. Guess we need to see him out soon!!
I'd be surprised if this is the race for her, she's been super impressive over further than 2m, I'd have the Supreme Syndicate mare over her every day of the week at 2miles.
I'd be surprised if it wasn't. He can hardly risk leaving 50 thousand which the stable staff will receive if she wins a race at HQ behind in an open race albeit with her allowances it wouldn't be as easy as the mares.
Shattered Love is a nice mare too, and plenty of nice prices about for her too. I think she will be excellent over a trip as well but second guessing Edward O'Leary is just as difficult as Master Mullins and co.
Not a bad cliff horse to have then. She's looked highly promising since that debut bumper win at Naas. Think I backed her at Aintree last year when she was 3rd after that run. You any idea where she will go? She's done very well over 2 miles so far and also her 2 runs over 18 furlongs but stepping up in distance should pose no problem.
She was a little lucky to win her last two with Asturia falling. She might just lack a change of gears in the finish. I think chasing with bring out a lot more from her so she's probably one for next year.
would be madness to run Lets Dance in anything other than the mares novice, got no chance in anything else
That £50k stable bonus gives a new angle lol! Let's Dance would be the classiest next to Airlie Beach so she has a chance despite clearly staying well, but remember this is Ricci talking. If Let's Dance ran in a mares Hurdle over 2m4f, would she get any allowance as a Novice?
Evening gents Spent the evening going through the replays from last year and two that caught my eye are Paint The Clouds and Urano. Does anyone know if there heading to chelts this year? I should imagine paint the clouds might head for the fox hunters but i cant find anything about urano and he hasnt run since?
