Who finish above you most seasons and seem to take your best youth at will.

Statistically speaking we've finished above Citeh more times, even if you just count PL era thats still true. (really helps that they spent years outside the top division and were crap before the oil rolled in) So according to statistics we finish above them most seasons.

Also I wasn't aware that buying one player for £50m was counted as 'at will'

Never a pen in a month of Sundays anyway. She kicked the ball (or sliced it) against her arm as she slipped. Bizarre.

Yep, I watched it and am pretty sure that PL supporters everywhere would be screaming pen if it was against their team <ok>

Would you call for it if it was against Liverpool?

She slipped as she went to clear and sliced the ball against her arm - the very definition of a non-pen. It's not like she was so scared of marking Dejan Lovren (!) at a corner that she simply jumped up and punched the ball away because her manager had assured her that they're allowed to get away with anything on their home ground. :emoticon-0136-giggl

Ah, the Howard Webb interpretation of the rules - what do the home fans want me to do here?

Would you have wanted a pen for Liverpool?

I actually think the ref got it right but am trying to be honest about what people call for.

So you are a little embarrassed about a lot of the penalty's Liverpool have had then?

Regardless of whether a fan would call it for their team (****ing bizarre methodology of the interpretation of the rules there), what is your HONEST call on the 'pen' then, George Washington?

I was certainly embarrassed for the ref at Palace when we played them who saw a clear Coutinho header on goal punched away by the CB and did nothing. And if you're referring to the Soton one at the end of the season, the ball went over his head and he stuck his arm up, which it hit first before his head - that IS a pen. Was embarrassed for Pogba though - and Jose going into paroxysms on the touchline as if there was any doubt about it.
