Are Spurs given the full capacity at Wembley out of interest? If so are they expecting to fill it consistently? Not a wind up, just interested. =
I think they have now, originally only had permission for x amount of games but got the rest now I believe. They probably will get high attendancss though most will be day trippers on cheap tickets. I'm more interested in away allocations and where they will be bearing in mind they can't shove them up in the gods.
Yeah we have, initially was only given 55,000-60,000 I think but an application was made and approved to give us the full allocation. I think if the club offers a good pricing plan, it'll fill easily. Put tickets on sale for £20 (or less) each and I see no reason why we can't fill it. We sold out for the Europa game against Gent and tickets were dirt cheap (I think £5 for concessions and kids, £20 for adults) which was a great move by the club, so if they follow suit on that it should be a decent turnout.
Are Spurs taking full revenue generated from ticket sales then or are the FA raking their cut? Be interesting if you lot get to a domestic cup final this season then, no doubt there will be a few moans from the opposition if it happens.
To be honest I don't know the ins and outs of the deal so wouldn't have a clue who gets what. I presume Brent council will get something as it was they who granted the permission for full allocation but aside from that I have no idea.
I see your point, Bruv. However, I am quite sanguine about turning around our hoodoo at Wembley. Poch will school our lads into how to use the extra space. We'll run other teams ragged, you'll see.
It's not about the extra space. You'll struggle due to the lack of atmosphere cos it will be full of day trippers and every away team will raise their game.
Unbeaten at home, scored one goal more than the title winners and had a golden boot winner, surely the FA must invent a trophy for you to raise aloft.
