So the fixtures are out tomorrow morning, what games are you looking out for and who do you want first? I'd like to avoid any of the promoted sides early on while they have a bit of a momentum. Wouldn't mind Spurs away early on while they're still adapting. Will be looking out for the Bournemouth and Brighton games too. Hoping Newcastle & Everton away are in the new year too. Bet we get a drab ****ing opener like Stoke away
Wouldn't mind facing either of the scouse sides first up tbh. Both teams will have Euro play offs to worry about too. As long as if it's Everton then it's at home. Really want to do Goodison this year and got a wedding/stag do coming up so probably can't do any big away trips until after xmas
Libby mate, last season we hit the ground running. Klopp puts so much into pre-season the last people you lot want is us. I want your lot though, pussy #grasses
True, you probably will have a good start. Might be smarting from a CL exit to Celtic too **** it we'll play you in the new year when you get found out again
Would like to play Spurs early on at Wembley. We have a great record there. Spurs' is ****ing woeful. Would like a home game first, against not too good an oppo, so that our players can hopefully start off where they left with their superb form at the end of last season. Would also like to avoid Chelsea, City and Spurs in the run in.
Would like Arsenal at the Emirates first game. Start with a bang. They've been shaky in the first game of the past couple seasons too and if they end up losing Sanchez over the summer, I'd massively fancy our chances. Finishing at home to Stoke would be nice.
Meh. I'm not at all bothered about Arsenal any more. Both games should be a fairly easy 3 points for us. I think 'Pool and City will probably be our toughest games. Personally, I'm looking forward to us taking Chelsea apart, again. It would be nice if that could be our opener on our new turf. I think that Poch and the boys will be looking to make Wembley our new fortress.
Remind me again how many goals you scored against us in 360 minutes of football last seaon? If we have to start with an away game at a top 6 side, we couldn't hope for a better draw than Liverpool frankly. We seem to have their number.
Indeed. I have learned my lesson, Archie. From now on, there will be no outrageously optimistic predictions from me.
