    Also add to that think its because they only had to be 21 or under at a certain date, so they could have turned 22 in the meantime

    I guess the last thing you want is a team qualifying with a group of players and then 3 or 4 are then classed as overage.

    Like @RogerisontheHunt says, its your age at the start of the qualifying campaign. Mawson is 23 yet still eligible, as an example.

    Just saw on sky sports that german gk had a cheat sheet stuffed in his sock rhat he consulted before every pen.

    Clearly englands training sessions and pen practice was watched by germans and notes in detail provided.

    Ok so redmond was **** but it just goes to show the lengths germans go to and how lirtle we think of these things
