No mate it's exactly the opposite in this scenario as it's not a freehold interest we're talking about in regard to the stadium it's leasehold interest i.e. the land will always belong to Peel who are leasing it for a 200 year period.

 

Don't worry, because of inflation land will become so cheap Everton will probably be able to buy the entire Liverpool waterfront

 

Just for the record I'm genuinely pleased that a new stadium is being built for you lot and it's location will be amazing for the club and the city. The underwater rubbish is just that, rubbish, and personally I've just been having a laugh with the pics I've posted
