A 1-2-3 of Hamilton, Rosberg, Vettel gives Hamilton title #3... If the Merc's remain reliable, can't see them getting beat here, they always go well here and the firmer the tyres the better they perform.. No point wishing for a good title battle anymore, due to the lead, and points available, its a question of when not if he wins the Title.. Williams may go well here and Lotus too.. The RedBulls/Torro Rosso's may contend given the quality of their chassis but will that be enough to over come the power demands at this track? Also, like the timing of this race, nice to have some late afternoon/early evening entertainment on a Sunday!
Williams will be podium fighters here. Merc power, many straights to put the power down, and aerodynamically this kind of track is their niche. Would like to see Massa have a good weekend.
This... The race for the lead will last about 500m... after that, if Hamilton is in the lead, he'll control the gap... I'll tune in for the first 2minutes and then go watch paint dry!
There's some very weird lens distortion on that picture at the top so it looks like the cars further away are bigger than the ones that are closer. Or I need a lie down.
If I remember right, Lewis likes this circuit. That being the case I can't see anyone else winning, baring any mechanical failures. To be honest, I think it'll be more interesting betting on weather Lewis will be booed on the podium or not.
No photographic tricks, this explains why Maldo kept crashing last season, his car was massive compared to the others!
On Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday. As usual Sunday - the one day I'd like it to rain - is forecast dry.
Ferrari to introduce a new spec engine on both cars so both will take 10 place grid penalties. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/121451
That gives Red Bull something to think about. Will they wont they take the new Renault engines? If they don't they might be able to get podium then again that sort of says Renault engines aren't that bad!!! My guess is no new engines at Red Bull nor Torro Rosso as too close with Sauber to risk loosing position. This could be a good race with weather and penalties.
Raikkonen on his shunt with Bottas: I would still do it again tomorrow. Could be an interesting practice session for once.
Can't wait! And if Hamilton wins the title here, good on him. I reckon this would be the place he would want to win it. I just don't see Nico putting much in the way of Lewis, Ferrari's with grid penalties. Nearest challenger would probably Bottas or Ricciardo, who aren't in contention.
