With the new season still light years away and little to judge what next season shall hold for our beloved club I thought I'd take a poll. Pointless maybe. Okay pointless definitely but I'm bored. So what does our gut tell us? Can Powell have us challenging as promotion candidates? Glass half empty or half full I suspect the answer from some may be that the glass can't be half empty because half of nothing is still nothing, pessimistic sods.
I think CP will come good. There were a core of players there who seemed to purposely make his job tougher than needed- but they are bow out of contract, allowing CP to bring some of his own guys in.. Players who will play for the manager and the club.
I was going to do a series of polls over the summer, some Charlton related some not, what do you think?
I think you should go for it, always good to gauge public opinion. More positive than I thought it would be so far
I've just put in my vote for 'promotion candidates', just what you'd expect really as I've been saying all this season that the next campaign will be the one. Despite the poor end to our season, I'm sticking firmly to this view.
An eternal optimist here... Therefore, unsurprisingly I'm going for automatic promotion. A bit of a season in reverse for us where we start slowly but then have a storming second half of the season.
you lot should be up there ,i just wish i was that confident about my little team from bucks.still we got promoted this season so we might do a norwich and do it back to back
