As a Charlton supporter I was surprised to be invited to Elland Road last week end by a colleague who is a bit of a Leeds supporter. Being the benficiary of East stand hospitality at Elland Road I had a good opportunity to review the mighty Millwall support. A Revised List... Millwall +Ferocious, full blodded support - all two hundred of them cowering in the upper stand +A true sense of identity (knowing we are the underdog and revelling in that fact) no visible banners or signs to say who they were +Everyone knows us, no one likes us (just the way we like it) - most people seemed to ignore you +Visionary owner and most talented manager outside of the prem. - Jackett is a good manager, shame about the team he has been allowed to assemble +No ****** trainspotting fans- take out the middle two words and your right +And of couurrsseee being the best behaved supporters in the land - yep you were allowed onto the Kings Ferry/G4S accommodation buses and escorted home A Revised List... Charlton -Most time spent talking about being in the premier league - well we probably have a better expectation of reaching it than some clubs I could mention -Trainspotter fans- At least we can all get to away matches. -Originate from Charlton - what no digs about the Valley Express -Poncey half hearted support mostly from children - a future generation of supporters being trained + A good place for us to dump unwanted reserve players - seem to recall it was one of ex academy players who provided the pinpoint cross for the second Leeds goal. Well done Lloyd Sam +Have Millwall as a "big brother" to look after them in case any of the bigger boys pick on them. - perleease!
Scratching - that fighting talk is not indicative of a Charlton fan - I would bet good money that you are really a Millwall fan on the wind-up - come on admit it
Truth is my big brother is a Millwall fan and that comes of to many years of fighting talk. He's banished to the south coast these days so I have to take it out somehow.
