Would be better then what we currently have behind Mahrez which is Gray - a left winger who has never played on the right.
Like I've said before, why can't Albrighton move to the right wing or alternate with Gray during a match?
Same reason he and Mahrez never switch - bugger do I know what that reason is though as Mahrez has played on the left before so should be an obvious tactic.
Mahrez and Albrighton do sometimes switch wings. They did against Arsenal for a while after Riyad had been bullied by their full back. Champions would have the definitive answer (which would doubtless have something to do with his being able to see the bigger picture) but (thankfully) he seems to have gone AWOL. By all accounts Mahrez had a decent game today. If that's the case then I have no problem with him keeping his place on merit.
Yes, they played well but don't get to carried away they were playing Brighton! lets see how they get on against Man U.
I'd probably steer clear of him and Townsend, who seem to be constantly looking for new clubs. Not good when you can't cement a place in teams that aren't regarded that highly. Maybe Shakey could get better out of them, but both would certainly be classed as risks.
Given that Maguire looks class, it could be tempting to pay out for Ben Gibson and then just set up a rock-solid defence for years?
Given how much Morgan has deteriorated, would be a good shout. We are linked with Bobby Reid from Bristol City - is the joint top scorer in the Championship atm.
He did but unfortunately isn't a regular occurrence now - when Huth is back to fitness, I don't think he'll be a regular starter any more. Am hoping to see Alexandru Pascanu who is our reserve team RB as it doesn't look like we are after any others.
Would prefer Smalling if Jose's still interested in offloading, or Evans, though i think that ship has sailed. Would like to keep a bit of experience at CB.
It is being reported that Mendy is heading to Atalanta on a loan to buy deal. Chelsea are rumoured to be interested in Vardy.
Or £200k to for an easy retirement in London - can see the temptation but is all rumours atm and Chelsea haven't made a bid for any of our players.
Gray to seemingly everyone is back on the cards after last night's performance - Bournemouth are apparently offering £25m.
Mendy's agent has confirmed that a loan to buy deal is close with Atalanta - will be leaving us light in midfield which is a worry if Drinkwater is leaving as well.
